This year’s ‘Walk for Molly’ is a 30-mile charity walk in support of young people’s mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Taking place on Saturday 13 June 2026, the walk follows a carefully planned route from Westminster to Ripley, designed to be challenging, supportive and flexible, with plenty of opportunities for people to take part in a way that suits them.

This is not a race!
It’s about walking together, having conversations, and raising vital funds to support emotional wellbeing in children and young people.

The Route – How the Day Works

The full route is approximately 30 miles, but you do not have to walk the whole distance to take part.

The day is broken into manageable sections, with planned stops and hop-on points:

  • Start: Westminster Cathedral

Mass at 8am for those who’d like to attend or 8.20 in the Piazza for photos and set off.

  • Putney Bridge – approx mile 5.5 – ETA 10:20

First hop-on point for those wanting more of a marathon distance.

  • Ham Street Riverside Carpark – approx mile 11 – ETA 12:10 (depart 13:10)

A proper refuel stop with picnic lunch provided.

  • Hampton Court Bridge – approx mile 15 – ETA 14:25

Hop-on point for those doing half distance.

  • The Anglers, Walton-on-Thames – approx. mile 20 – ETA 16:00 (depart 16:30)

A popular morale stop (we recommend a quick refreshment, then back on the road)

  • Pyrford Lock – final hop-on point – ETA – 18.45

Just 3 miles from the finish, ideal for anyone joining later in the day

  • Finish: The Jovial Sailor, Ripley – ETA  19.45

A relaxed celebration with food, drinks and a well-earned sense of achievement!

You can:

      • Walk the entire 30 miles
      • Join for a section
      • Or walk the final 3 miles to bring everyone home

All options are equally welcome.  All timings are approximate.  Please note, this is not a marshalled walk, but you will have a route to follow.

What’s Included

      • Free entry – we never charge to take part
      • A Bee-lieve Foundation T-shirt for every registered walker
      • Planned rest stops and picnic lunch along the route
      • A friendly, inclusive atmosphere from start to finish

Fundraising

While there is no entry fee, we do encourage walkers to support our work by setting up a JustGiving fundraising page, either individually or as part of a group, with Bee-lieve Foundation selected as the nominated charity.

Every pound raised helps us continue our work with schools, families and communities to support young people’s mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Fundraise in whatever way feels right for you – solo, with friends, as a family, or as a team.

Volunteers & Planning

This walk is only possible thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers who have spent months planning, recce-ing and walking the route to make sure it is safe, enjoyable and well supported.

Their time, care and commitment are a huge part of what makes this event so special.
