Dr Alison D’Amario
Mental Health & Wellbeing Consultant
I’m an Educational Psychologist and author, with over 18 years’ experience working in education. I completed my Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology at the University of East London, and earlier studied Psychology at the University of Manchester, where I also gained my PGCE.
I’m a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and I’m passionate about supporting the emotional wellbeing of children and young people.
Alongside my professional work, I’m proud to volunteer as a mental health consultant for the Bee-lieve Foundation, and to contribute to the editorial board of the International Journal of Nurture in Education.
Whilst I love all of the variety within my role, my passion lies within the area of mental health, so I was beyond delighted when Steve approached me to be involved with the Bee-Lieve Foundation.
