Walking marathon as part of
‘Make a Difference for Molly’ campaign
On Saturday 14th June, more than 80 people aged 8 – 82 took part in a walking marathon from Westminster Cathedral to Addlestone. On the 27-mile journey, people from all backgrounds walked, talked, listened and connected as part of our ‘Make a Difference for Molly’ campaign. The sun shone, the smiles lit up faces and the laughter could be heard continuously along the entire route. During a picnic lunch near Ham House, we even had a flypast, right over the Bee-lieve tent from The Red Arrows as they headed back to base following the Trooping of the Colour. A truly magical moment.
Thanks to the selfless efforts of the walkers, and the generosity of so many family, friends and colleagues, we have currently raised over £9,600 which will be used to support schools in the Woking area with their emotional wellbeing provision for all pupils.
We are always stronger together. Together we can build a brighter future for young people in Molly’s name.
Thank you everyone for ‘Bee-ing the change’.
